LanzaTech and BRIGHT Partner to Build Carbon-to-Value Biofoundry in Denmark
biomassmagazine.comLanzaTech and BRIGHT, a research institute at the Technical University of Denmark, have launched a multi-year partnership to advance carbon-to-value biotechnology. The collaboration focuses on installing a next-generation C1 biofoundry that uses gas fermentation to turn industrial emissions, such as CO2 and methane, into sustainable fuels and chemicals. This initiative aims to accelerate the development of specialized microbes through automation and AI-driven design. By reducing innovation risk and speeding up strain development cycles, the project seeks to establish Europe as a hub for circular bioeconomy solutions and commercial-scale biorefining.
