LanzaTech and BRIGHT are collaborating to establish a next-generation C1 biofoundry at the Technical University of Denmark. The project focuses on gas fermentation, using microbes to convert industrial carbon emissions, including CO2 and methane, into sustainable fuels and chemicals. Running through April 2028, the partnership combines LanzaTech's synthetic biology expertise with BRIGHT's research infrastructure. The goal is to accelerate the development of carbon-to-value technologies and strengthen Europe's role in the circular bioeconomy.
