Kyobo Life Insurance and South Korea's Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment hosted the fourth Earthhada Festival at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on September 21. Organizers said about 10,000 students and citizens joined hands-on programs including bicycle generator experiences, environmental quizzes, and a mobile stamp tour linked to climate action pledges. The event also awarded student entries in an environmental drawing and AI video contest themed around daily climate actions. Kyobo has run the Purmi Mobile Environmental Classroom for elementary and middle schools since 2022 and received a Presidential Commendation last year for its environmental programs. The festival is part of its broader push to build public support for carbon neutrality, though the company did not disclose how its own operations or investment portfolio align with the 10 climate commitments cited by its CEO.
