KRIBHCO AGM: Farmer Outreach, Soil Health Tests, and Green Energy Push in FY2025-26

KRIBHCO reported strong farmer outreach and sustainability work at its 46th AGM. The cooperative reached 4.41 lakh farmers through 4,611 meetings, sold 8.99 lakh litres of liquid bio-fertilisers and 33,874 MT of city compost, and tested 22,134 soil samples across 17 states to support balanced nutrient use and soil organic carbon. Beyond inputs, KRIBHCO distributed certified seeds and technical folders, trained 18,817 cooperative managers, and adopted 185 societies. The group is also advancing clean-energy projects for ethanol blending. These figures show a cooperative actively working on soil health and low-carbon agriculture, though details on emissions and adoption rates remain unclear.
