Korea Midland Power Co. (KOMIPO) and SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management Corporation have signed an agreement to develop international greenhouse gas reduction projects. The partnership focuses on capturing methane from landfills in developing countries and converting it into energy through power generation projects. KOMIPO will manage investment reviews and the purchase of emissions credits, while SUDOKWON provides the technical expertise for resource circulation and feasibility assessments. This collaboration aims to help meet Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) by improving waste infrastructure and securing carbon credits globally.
