The King’s Cross Group is utilizing £8.6 million from the UK government's Green Heat Network Fund to decarbonize its heating and cooling infrastructure. The project will integrate ground and air source heat pumps, electric boilers, and heat recovery systems to serve 44 buildings and nearly 2,000 homes. This initiative aims to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and improve energy resilience across the mixed use estate. By upgrading the existing network, the project provides a scalable model for urban decarbonization that benefits both residential and commercial occupiers.
