Kinetic7 is introducing portable hydrogen-on-demand stoves, the Tribe and Nomad models, to replace wood-burning and kerosene stoves in Sub-Saharan Africa. The technology uses solar power and water to generate clean cooking gas, aiming to reduce the 3.1 million annual deaths caused by household air pollution. Beyond individual stoves, the company is deploying modular Carbon Free Kitchens in shipping containers for schools and humanitarian aid. This approach targets the root causes of deforestation and carbon emissions associated with traditional biomass cooking in developing nations.
