Kensing has introduced Regenyl and Revolis, a new line of biosurfactants produced through microbial fermentation of agri-food waste and edible oil side streams. These palm-free alternatives aim to reduce the environmental footprint of cleaning and cosmetic products by replacing petrochemical-based ingredients. Life cycle assessments indicate that these upcycled glycolipids offer significant reductions in CO2 emissions, water usage, and land requirements compared to virgin bio-based feedstocks. The platform focuses on circular feedstock selection to help consumer brands meet Net Zero targets without sacrificing product performance.
