Karachi is deploying over 50 air quality monitoring devices and 100 public displays to provide real-time pollution data to citizens. This project, led by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and the Climate Action Centre, aims to increase public awareness of urban environmental conditions. Beyond monitoring, the city is transitioning municipal facilities to solar power and introducing a green vehicle fleet for operational staff. A new Green Fund has also been established to expand urban green spaces and support low-carbon infrastructure projects.
