The technical side is fine, but the real question is the incentive structure. Without clear carbon credits or a domestic carbon price in India, the economics of eMethanol are tough. I want to see if they are targeting EU exports to play off the CBAM rules.
Exactly. Also, where is the green hydrogen coming from for this? To make it truly green methanol, you need massive amounts of renewable energy. If they are pulling from a dirty grid, the carbon math doesn't actually work.
Capturing CO2 from steel is a massive engineering lift. I am curious about the actual footprint of the Raigad facility and how they handle the heat integration. These projects often look great in an MoU but hit a wall during the retrofit phase.
