The tech is fine, but the scale is what matters. Steel plants have massive energy demands. I wonder what the projected capacity of this plant is and if the local infrastructure can actually handle the feedstock logistics.
Logistics are the real killer here. Moving bio-feedstock at an industrial scale often costs more than the energy gain. Hope they have a concrete plan for the supply chain instead of just a partnership memo.
