Jordanian manufacturers in the cement, steel, and fertilizer sectors are preparing for the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. The Amman Chamber of Industry is working with EU delegations and international partners to help exporters track and verify carbon emissions to maintain market access to Europe. To support this transition, Jordan is launching a Green Guidance Platform to provide advisory services on resource efficiency and circular economy models. International organizations including the EBRD and UNIDO are providing technical and financial assistance to help local industries reduce their carbon footprint.
