Jordanian exporters in the fertilizer, aluminum, steel, and cement sectors are preparing for the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. The Amman Chamber of Industry is coordinating with the EU and government ministries to help manufacturers report and verify carbon emissions to maintain market access. To support this transition, Jordan is launching a Green Guidance Platform to provide advisory services on resource efficiency and circular economy models. International partners like GIZ, KfW, and the EBRD are providing technical and financial support to help local industries modernize and reduce their carbon footprint.
