Circular design is fine but the real carbon impact depends on how the recycled materials are processed. If the recycling uses a lot of energy from fossil fuels the net gain might be small.

Good point. Policy should require disclosure of embedded carbon for each component not just a vague claim. That would push suppliers to use cleaner energy for recycling too.

I wonder if these parts are actually cheaper or more expensive than standard ones. Cost will determine if this scales beyond a concept car. No one buys a car just because it is green.
