JK Lakshmi Cement is scaling the production of Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3) at its Jaykaypuram plant in Rajasthan. This low-carbon technology can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 40 percent compared to traditional cement production methods. The company is collaborating with Swiss research institutions like EPFL and ETH Zurich to move LC3 from the pilot phase to commercial viability.
