Jersey's government has extended its low carbon heating incentive until 2030. Homeowners can apply for up to £9,000 in match funding for an air source heat pump, or up to £4,000 for other approved technologies. Low income households can receive up to £15,000 without match funding. The scheme is part of the island's carbon neutral roadmap and has already helped hundreds of islanders install low carbon heating systems. The extension gives homeowners and businesses more time to plan retrofits. Officials say the benefits include lower heating bills, lower carbon emissions, and properties that are better prepared for future energy standards. Separate grants for electric vehicle chargers and energy audits have a deadline of 11:59 GMT on 13 December.
