Jersey extends low-carbon heating grant to 2030 as EV charger incentive deadline approaches
thetimesjersey.comJersey has extended its Low Carbon Heating Incentive through 2030, offering homeowners up to £9,000 toward electric heating systems or air source heat pumps, with eligible lower-income households receiving up to £15,000. Environment Minister Senator Mary Le Hegarat said the extension gives residents and businesses more certainty and supports local skills development for energy-efficient heating installations. Separately, applications for the Electric Vehicle Charger Incentive close on 13 December. The grant, which increased from £350 to £700 in August 2025, covers households, businesses, and charities, with businesses able to apply for up to ten chargers. Grants for Home and Non-Domestic Energy Audits also close on the same date, so residents and businesses are being urged to apply well ahead of the deadline.
