The delay here is a classic example of the gap between climate goals and regulatory reality. We have the tax credits ready, but the permitting process is still moving at a glacial pace.
Permits are one thing, but I am more interested in the actual pipeline route and the land use agreements. If they cannot secure the right of way, the permit is just a piece of paper.
Basically, IRFA is tired of waiting. They want the commission to stop stalling so the carbon capture project can actually get off the ground.
