IQIP is moving its EQ Piling technology offshore for a full-scale monopile installation at the Dreekant wind farm in Germany. Developed with EnBW and Vattenfall, the system aims to reduce carbon emissions and noise pollution compared to traditional piling and bubble-curtain methods. The project will use the installation vessel Orion to validate the technology under real site conditions. If successful, this method could lower the environmental impact and cost of building offshore wind foundations across Europe.
