InverBosques has issued over 230,000 tonnes of verified carbon dioxide removal credits from its Brújula Verde project in Colombia. The project focuses on afforestation, reforestation, and revegetation (ARR) in the degraded Orinoco region, utilizing native species and digital monitoring to ensure high-integrity removals. Backed by financing from GenZero, Trafigura, and Natixis, the project has received an AA.Pre rating from BeZero Carbon. The credits are being traded via Climate Impact X (CIX) as the project expands its planting capacity toward a 20,000 hectare target.
