The paper calls for adding iGHGs to national climate plans, emissions inventories, and research agendas. It also flags hydrogen leakage as a growing risk during the energy transition. Coordinating climate and air quality policy could capture both warming and health benefits, since iGHGs also form ground-level ozone. The analysis is a synthesis of existing science, not new data.
