Indonesia is upgrading its Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems across Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. This move aims to improve the accuracy of greenhouse gas emission data and ensure that carbon reduction actions meet international accountability standards. The initiative follows Presidential Regulation Number 110 of 2025, linking regional reporting to the National Registry System (SRN) and the Carbon Unit Registry System (SRUK). These updates are designed to secure the integrity of Indonesia's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets and carbon economic value instruments.
