India's Technology Development Board is supporting NTF Energy Solutions to build a manufacturing facility for Type-IV composite CNG cylinders. These next-generation cylinders use a polymer liner and carbon fiber reinforcement to reduce weight by up to 75% compared to traditional steel tanks. By lowering vehicle weight, these cylinders improve fuel efficiency and reduce overall carbon emissions.
