India is transitioning its heavy-duty logistics from diesel to liquefied natural gas (LNG) to improve energy security and lower emissions. GreenLine Mobility is leading this shift, operating over 1,000 LNG trucks and planning an expansion to 10,000 vehicles, including electric trucks for short-haul routes. To support this transition, new infrastructure is being developed, including a planned network of 100 integrated refueling and charging stations. Replacing just 10 percent of the diesel fleet with LNG vehicles could reduce annual foreign exchange outflows by 3 billion dollars.
