Ethanol from molasses and surplus grain is one thing. But scaling to E20 across the whole fleet means a lot more feedstock. Where does the extra land come from? That could push deforestation or food prices.

Agreed. The real test is scaling without pushing food prices up. India has a lot of sugarcane but water use is high. Would be good to see second generation ethanol from crop waste get more attention.
