India's Clean Industry Pipeline Hits USD 433 Billion, Ranks Third Globally: MPP Tracker Shows 65 Projects Across 11 States

India's low-carbon industrial project pipeline grew 30 percent over six months to reach USD 433 billion, according to the Mission Possible Partnership (MPP). The country now ranks third globally behind China and the US in clean industry project count. The pipeline includes 65 projects across 11 Indian states, spanning green ammonia, green methanol, sustainable aviation fuel, and low-carbon aluminium production. Green ammonia dominates with 49 of the 65 projects, reflecting strong momentum in India's green hydrogen and clean fuels sector. MPP reports that 19 clean industrial projects worldwide reached final investment decisions in the past six months, more than double the pace from a year earlier. India's pipeline includes an estimated USD 323.5 billion in renewable energy infrastructure and USD 109.6 billion in industrial assets. Companies involved include AM Green, ACME, Indian Oil Corporation, NTPC, ReNew, Sembcorp, Welspun, and Vedanta. The report highlights India's potential to become a global hub for clean manufacturing and fuels by converting its renewable energy advantage into industrial scale.
