India reported that non-fossil fuel electricity generation capacity reached 53.21% by March 2026, beating its 50% target nearly five years early. Emissions intensity of GDP dropped 37.38% between 2005 and 2022, surpassing the 33-35% NDC target ahead of schedule. The session also covered green hydrogen classification standards and India's approach to equity and differentiated responsibilities in climate action.
