India and Norway have signed five new agreements to collaborate on offshore wind, ocean energy, and sustainable innovation. A key focus is the development of floating offshore wind systems and reducing the levelized cost of energy through joint research between CSIR and SINTEF. The partnership also covers carbon capture, storage, and utilization (CCUS), bio-based materials, and waste valorization. These initiatives aim to support India's carbon neutrality goals by integrating Norwegian technical expertise in marine energy and industrial sustainability.
