Reducing CAPEX is the only way carbon capture moves from pilot plants to actual industrial use. I am curious if their materials actually hold up under real world cycling or if the footprint reduction comes at the cost of durability.
The finance side is key here. If they can prove a lower cost per ton of CO2 captured, they will be much better positioned to take advantage of current tax credits and subsidies.
