ICTSI, PAL join Philippine Net Zero Carbon Alliance as membership reaches 50
businessmirror.com.phThe Net Zero Carbon Alliance in the Philippines has added eight new members, including port operator ICTSI and Philippine Airlines, bringing its total to 50 partner organizations. The new members were introduced at the Philippine Net Zero Conference 2026, where the alliance reported 45.1 million kgCO2e in total reductions across 16 partners, with average cuts of 16 percent in Scope 1, 42 percent in Scope 2, and 52 percent in Scope 3 emissions. Those numbers are self-reported, and the alliance does not appear to have published a verification methodology in this article. Still, the expansion shows that corporate net-zero commitments are moving beyond announcements. The bigger policy gap remains: the Philippines is still the only country in Southeast Asia without an official national net-zero target, which leaves voluntary corporate efforts without a stronger national anchor.
