New industry partners include IETA, the Verified Carbon Market Collaborative, data firm Sylvera, and Airbus. The alliance aims to increase the supply of high-quality carbon credits needed for international aviation under CORSIA, which requires 225 to 250 million eligible emissions units by spring 2027. The initiative helps countries access carbon markets, streamline credit authorization, and align with UNFCCC climate commitments. Participating airlines include Air France-KLM, AirAsia, ANA, IAG, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa Group, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines.
