Hyundai Motor Group is partnering with ten companies to establish a hydrogen value chain in Hong Kong. The project focuses on Waste-to-Hydrogen (W2H) technology, converting landfill gas into low-carbon hydrogen to power airport shuttles, tour buses, and logistics transport. This initiative aims to reduce Hong Kong's heavy reliance on imported energy by creating a local circular production model. The plan includes building W2H facilities and installing liquid hydrogen charging stations across the city to support heavy-duty mobility.
