Hyundai Mobis sustainability report 2026: supply chain ESG, Scope 3 emissions, RE100 renewable energy targets

Hyundai Mobis published its 2026 Sustainability Report, highlighting 157 trillion won in payments to partners over three years and over 5 trillion won in R&D since 2023. The company is advancing Scope 3 greenhouse gas management across its supply chain, including secondary and tertiary partners, through ESG assessments, consulting, and carbon reduction facility support. It also set RE100 targets of 65% renewable energy by 2030 and 100% by 2040, reaching 29% as of 2025. The report details efforts to strengthen supply chain competitiveness amid EV demand slowdown, with a focus on co-prosperity with partners. Hyundai Mobis also introduced a system for shareholders to recommend outside directors, contributing to a 32.8% total shareholder return last year. The company holds over 10,000 cumulative patents and continues investing in future mobility technologies while pursuing carbon neutrality across its value chain.
