Agree on the economics. Coal plant sites have grid connections and cooling already, which is a big plus. But SMR capital costs are still high. Would be useful to see a levelized cost comparison.

Retrofit is a smart term but replacing a boiler with a nuclear reactor is not a simple swap. The safety case alone will take years. Hope they are realistic about the engineering challenges.
