Hydro has partnered with the Parsons Healthy Materials Lab to study how recycled and low-carbon aluminium can reduce the environmental impact of buildings. The collaboration focuses on how renewable energy and improved recycling technologies change the carbon footprint of aluminium in construction. The partnership includes a research study on material specifications and a series of educational resources for architects and builders. Findings will be released in 2026 to help industry professionals make more sustainable material choices based on actual emissions data.
