Hyderabad's Cyberabad Municipal Corporation plans net-zero office complex at Izzat Nagar with EV parking
timesofindia.indiatimes.comHyderabad's Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has started the process of building a permanent office complex at Izzat Nagar. The tender asks a consultant to prepare the detailed project report, architectural and structural designs, and handle approvals. The building is expected to chase net-zero certification under IGBC or GRIHA, covering energy, water, waste to landfill, and carbon. The parking plan is unusually detailed. It calls for more than 500 equivalent car spaces, split between staff, visitors, VIPs, and service vehicles. At least 10% of spaces must be active EV bays, and the design should allow all parking to be upgraded to EV later. The consultant also has to secure building permission, a fire NOC, and Airports Authority of India clearance. For anyone tracking green public infrastructure in Telangana, this is a tender worth watching. The real test is whether the net-zero targets survive the design phase and actually show up in the completed building.
