HSBC has introduced a $4 billion Sustainability and Transition Credit Facility to help clean energy and low-carbon companies from Mainland China expand into international markets. The initiative targets sectors including clean power, transport electrification, and AI-driven energy efficiency. This move follows HSBC's reported $102 billion in sustainable finance activity for 2025. The bank aims to streamline credit approvals and increase limits to accelerate the global deployment of Chinese solar, battery, and cleantech exports.
