The 2 Rivers Remix Society is decarbonizing live event production by replacing diesel generators with electric vehicles and solar power. By using electric trucks to power high-efficiency audio systems, the organization provides carbon-neutral music festivals to First Nations communities in British Columbia. This model demonstrates the viability of using EV batteries as mobile energy storage for remote sites. The setup allows for zero-emission power delivery during setup and performance, reducing the environmental impact of touring while training Indigenous youth in sustainable technical production.
