23 turbines at 200 meters is a massive footprint for a site this sensitive. I want to see the interconnection plan. If they are hauling in heavy cabling and building new substations across peat, the construction emissions spike way beyond the turbine foundations themselves.

The carbon balance assessment the developer mentioned is where this will be won or lost. If the peat is as shallow as they claim, the numbers work. If it is deep, the payback period for the carbon debt could be decades. We need the actual soil survey data to judge.
