Hong Kong has successfully raised US$3.5 billion through a multi-currency bond sale to fund low-carbon transformation and the Northern Metropolis project. The offering was 8.6 times oversubscribed, showing strong global investor appetite for the city's sustainable finance initiatives. The capital will support key infrastructure and green projects aimed at reducing emissions and developing a new innovation hub. The issuance included various tranches in HKD, RMB, USD, and EUR with tenors ranging from five to 30 years.
