Hong Kong has deployed its first locally developed scientific payload to the Tiangong space station via the Tianzhou 10 cargo mission. The instrument is designed to monitor carbon dioxide and methane concentrations with high precision. Developed by a team from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the payload will quantify emission fluxes. This data is intended to help policymakers create and assess more accurate carbon reduction strategies.
