Holkham Estate in Norfolk has replaced its diesel maintenance vehicles with 11 Toyota Proace City electric vans and one electric pool car. This shift targets the estate's direct emissions, as carbon audits revealed that 55% of the property company's emissions came from its diesel fleet. The transition is expected to save 17.4 tonnes of CO2e annually over a total distance of 55,000 miles. By using renewable energy for charging, the estate is moving toward its goal of becoming carbon negative by 2040.
