Hoffmann Green Launches H-CLAY Cement Technology for Zero Clinker, Lower Carbon Emissions

Hoffmann Green plans to expand its portfolio to six zero-clinker cements by 2030. The technology also taps into a global supply of clay, reducing dependence on traditional raw materials and lowering energy demand in processing. The launch comes as the construction materials market is projected to reach USD 2.5 trillion by 2033, with growing demand for sustainable options. H-CLAY represents a shift in how the industry approaches cement production, moving away from a process that has seen little change in over two centuries. The key question will be how quickly the technology can scale and whether it can match the performance and cost of conventional cement in real-world applications.
