Hiringa Energy and Sundown Pastoral Company have started building a 15 MW green hydrogen production hub in New South Wales. The project focuses on creating zero-emission fuel to decarbonize heavy transport and industrial operations in the region. This facility will use renewable energy to power electrolysis, splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen. By establishing local production, the project aims to reduce reliance on fossil fuel based hydrogen and lower overall carbon emissions in the Australian energy landscape.
