EFM, Anew Climate, and Mast Reforestation have issued 575,861 verified carbon removal credits from the Henry Creek project in Oregon. The initiative restored 891 acres of forest damaged by the 2020 Beachie Creek Fire using a mix of traditional planting and drone-based seeding technology. The project is one of the first to utilize the Climate Action Reserve's Climate Forward Reforestation Methodology (v.2.0) and features a perpetual conservation easement. Credits have already been delivered to buyers including Shopify and the Arbor Day Foundation.

The numbers look fine for a pilot, but I wonder about the cost per ton for the drone deployment versus traditional crews. If the tech doesn't significantly drop the OpEx, it is just a gimmick.
