1.8 MWp solar for a factory is not huge but for South Africa with load shedding it makes sense. 65% self consumption is high, means they sized it well. Wonder what happens when Eskom grid is more stable, will they export or just idle?

35% energy efficiency improvement is impressive for an existing plant. Usually those gains come from lighting, compressed air, motor upgrades. Would be useful to know which measures gave the biggest bang for buck. Payback periods matter for replication.
