Haycarb PLC is increasing its production of specialized activated carbon for energy storage. The company has secured an 18.18 million USD investment to expand operations and is establishing a new manufacturing facility in the Philippines, expected to be operational by early 2027. This expansion focuses on coconut shell based carbon solutions, which are critical components for energy storage systems. By strengthening its supply chain across Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, and now the Philippines, Haycarb aims to meet the growing demand for low carbon industrial materials.
