Haryana and Avaada sign Rs 10,000 crore MoU for green industrial campus in Hisar targeting CBAM-ready manufacturing
tribuneindia.comThe Haryana government has signed an MoU with Avaada Group to develop a 300-acre green industrial campus in Hisar. The project is expected to draw about Rs 10,000 crore in investment and create more than 5,000 jobs. It is designed as a Zero-Carbon CBAM Green Industrial Campus, with power supplied by renewable energy around the clock to help manufacturers cut carbon intensity and meet EU import rules like CBAM. Under the MoU, the state's Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre will support industrial park status, explore incentives, build common infrastructure, and fast-track approvals through a single-window system. Avaada and the state also plan joint investment roadshows in Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Japan, and South Korea. No timeline has been announced for the first phase or full completion, so the next step is to watch how the renewable power and incentive details take shape.
