Hana Securities: Samsung E&A to Benefit from LNG and CCS Growth After Middle East Conflict

The brokerage expects the company to benefit from global LNG supply chain diversification following the Middle East conflict, with new projects emerging in Latin America and Africa. Samsung E&A is also advancing CCS projects in the US, including the Wabash and Crescent facilities, which capture millions of tons of CO2 annually. The report forecasts Samsung E&A's new energy revenue to grow from 1.35 trillion won this year to 2.79 trillion won by 2027, with order backlog more than doubling. The company is partnering with Honeywell on LNG and CCS projects, targeting both large and mid-sized contracts.
