Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center have started the Carbon Off Challenge, a public campaign focused on everyday carbon neutrality. The initiative uses a mobile app to track and certify activities like plogging to encourage sustainable habits across 34 participating organizations. This program is part of a larger national effort by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote digital-based volunteerism. By recording carbon reduction achievements via the Motinus app, the province aims to turn small individual actions into measurable collective environmental impact.
